The castle provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our family, with excellent facilities for children. The owner was understanding when we arrived late and made us feel at home. Highly recommended for families and couples alike.
We felt totally at home and had no reason to complain.

This was the second time we stayed in this hotel within 2 weeks and it lived up to expectations. Great service, very friendly owners, fantastic labrador :) We were impressed with Table d'hote food first time we stayed and this time it was also quite impressive, it's good quality food and wine at a reasonable price and comfortable settings.

We got incredible value for our money at the Manoir De Ponsay. The room was comfortable and filled with authentic pieces from the chateau's 400-year history. The location was surrounded by beautiful countryside and the staff treated us like family, making us feel right at home.
The breakfast option could have been improved with a wider selection of pastries.

I recently stayed at Manoir De Ponsay in the beautiful countryside for a short trip. The host, Laurent, was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing bikes and games for us to use. The family room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel for a longer stay!
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The quiet remoteness of it all was so different from a coastal hotel. The owner was charming and helpful. A truely international prescence.

Manoir de Ponsay is a nice place-to-stay for one day or more. Actually it was only a stop-over in our case, but exactly the very quiet and restfull stop we were looking for. The owners are nice and sincerely friendly with their guests.

We had the pleasure of staying at the charming historical family manor set in tranquil surroundings. The facilities, including the swimming pool, were excellent and provided us with much-needed relaxation. Our hosts went above and beyond, welcoming us with a delicious dinner and ensuring our every need was taken care of. The classic French atmosphere made our stay truly memorable.

Beautiful setting with stunning views of the countryside. We only stayed one night as we were on our way to visit friends in the Dordogne Our host (whose family home it was) could not have been more helpful and considerate. We were the only guests as the Lady of the Monoir was away on family business so had to go into Chantonnay for dinner. There is an adorable very well behaved dog called Anouka that came out for a walk with us. We ate a very good breakfast in a beautiful dining room with portraits of the ancestors. I would recommend booking a superior room if at all possible.

Beautiful historic chateau surrounded by hills and fields. Our room was lovely and comfortable with a great view. Host family has lived there for many generations. They were charming, including welcoming dog who is willing to take guests for walks. Great breakfast. We will keep a fond memory of our stay and hope to return.

I had a fantastic stay at Manoir De Ponsay Villa. Laurent, the owner, was incredibly accommodating and generous. He even prepared food for us when we arrived in the afternoon. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful views and period furniture. Laurent and Aurelia, the hosts, provided excellent service throughout our stay and the breakfast was fantastic. it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely return.

Informal and excellent hosts including the dog Nugat.
Breakfast was a little overpriced but there was plenty of it.
